“Mr. Jurgella has demonstrated to have a commitment in upholding operational leadership and guidance by motivating his staff to provide superior customer service and assisting in the development and delivery of training programs to provide consistency in all corporate policies, procedures and programs within the claims administration. He has done this by incorporating an early settlement program, which after a month of success, expanded the program to include tracking of both injury settlements and legal suits that are resolved within 30 days. This program helps ensure prompt resolution of claims, while cutting back on legal expenses and bottom line costs. The results have positively impacted the company in account retention, improving quality and more efficient use of our technology and resources. Lower loss costs and expense costs enable the company to be more competitive in the market force.”

Daniel was honored at the 2010 Claims Professional of the Year Award ceremony on Thursday, June 24 at 9:00AM during the 14th Annual Americas Claims Event in Las Vegas. All conference attendees were in attendance to celebrate the achievements of a true leader in the industry who embodies the spirit for which this award represents.
